Long-time Employee Selects Summer Read

In 1979, Henry Terrill joined the faculty members at the Brackett Library to serve as Government Documents and Interlibrary Loan Librarian. Over the years he has served in many capacities and currently manages Serials, Electronic Resources and the University's archives. In May, Terrill received his 30-year pin to honor his service to the university.

Terrill selected Rose Wilder Lane's Let the Hurricane Roar as his reading recommendation. "This little volume was recommended to me by my Junior High School librarian just after my father died when I was 14. When my dad died, I decided that God couldn’t be good. Somehow, she picked up on this and recommended I read the book. Reading about someone else who endured a hard time helped me make it through my own hard time."
