Petit Jean goes digital!

Brackett Library is pleased to announce the digitization of over twenty-five years of Petit Jean yearbooks. The online collection begins with the 1924-25 Harding College Petit Jean, and currently includes yearbooks through the 1952-53 annual. Additional years are still being prepared for the collection by Catherine Canterbury, the library's graduate assistant.

"For years, we've had the entire run of the Petit Jean tucked away in the archive room. Now, we can share them with alumni worldwide, "said Library Director Ann Dixon. "It's so exciting to see the possibilities that digitization brings. Preservation may happen in the library, but access can now be anywhere. Eventually, we will scan and share all of the yearbooks, and alumni from all eras will be able to view the Petit Jean from their days at Harding."

To view the collection, visit http://digital.harding.edu and enter the Petit Jean link. The Digital Archives page also includes links to the library's Flickr Collection and to the growing collection of archive videos from Harding's past.
