What are you reading, Jean Waldrop?

Hey, Jean Waldrop! What are you reading?

Right now I am reading "Miss Julia Speaks Her Mind,"by Ann B. Ross. I am a participant in a book club that is made up of several faculty and staff members here on campus and this book was chosen for next month. I am a little over halfway through this book and laughing as I go. It is just a delightful, easy, quick read about an elderly widow left with a fortune and a few other surprises. Maybe because I am older, I am enjoying Miss Julia, but I think any age group would appreciate her spunk and determination.

In addition to her duties as Reference Librarian, Ms. Waldrop serves as the liaison for all of Harding's Health Sciences programs. She can often be found with Nursing, PA, and Pharmacy students and faculty, or at the Reference Desk helping students navigate the library's online databases. Ms. Waldrop is also the creative energy behind the library's popular READ posters so if you like them, be sure to stop by the Reference Desk and tell her thank you!
